Grants aimed at supporting the international promotion and market diversification of companies in the Principality of Asturias 2026
The aid is intended to promote the internationalisation of Asturian companies through financial support for foreign promotion projects and the hiring of technical staff specialised in foreign trade.
The Science, Business Competitiveness and Innovation Agency of the Principality of Asturias (SEKUENS), formerly the Economic Development Institute of the Principality of Asturias (IDEPA), announces grants aimed at fostering the consolidation and growth of companies in the Principality of Asturias by financing international promotion activities and market diversification initiatives.
The call is structured into two separate programmes:
PINT Programme (International Promotion Projects): Intended to subsidise individual international promotion projects carried out by companies in the Principality of Asturias with the aim of increasing their exports or diversifying the destination markets of their products or services. Eligible expenses include, among others, promotional materials, participation in international trade fairs and promotional events, business trips and client visits, the registration of trademarks and patents abroad, establishment abroad, and indirect costs up to a maximum of 7% of the eligible direct costs.
TCEX Programme (Foreign Trade Technicians): Intended to support the hiring of technical staff specialised in foreign trade who join the company’s structure in order to develop and implement its internationalisation strategy. The gross salary and the employer’s Social Security contributions over a period of 12 months will be eligible, up to a maximum limit of 30,000 euros, to which an additional 7% will be added for indirect costs related to the management of the internationalisation plan. Each company may only receive aid for the formalisation of one contract per call.
The grants are awarded under a competitive concurrence procedure and may be co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
