4 YEARS FROM NOW (4YFN) 2026 Barcelona
Red.es and ICEX are coordinating Spain’s participation in the Spain Pavilion at 4YFN 2026, the leading event for tech startups held within the framework of MWC Barcelona. A opportunity to gain visibility and connect with investors and key industry players
The call is aimed at Spanish tech startups interested in exhibiting at the Spain Pavilion during 4YFN 2026, taking place from March 2 to 5 at Fira Gran Vía (Barcelona). Selected companies will be provided with their own booth for two days, event passes (4YFN and MWC), access to pitching sessions, networking opportunities, media coverage, and inclusion in the official catalogue. The event places a special focus on verticals such as health tech, fintech, gaming, cybersecurity, and climate tech.
Application deadline: until 2:00 p.m. on October 24, 2025.
Participation cost:
- Startup: €850 + 10% VAT = €935
- Aggregator modality: €950 + 10% VAT = €1,045
Requirements
Companies must meet and provide evidence of all the following requirements:
- Legal incorporation in Spain: Must be registered as a Spanish company.
- Primary activity in the tech sector: Must operate within the technology sector. Startups certified by ENISA will be automatically considered as tech companies.
- Authorization to AEAT: Must have authorized the Department of Customs and Excise Duties to share foreign trade data with ICEX.
- Active website: Must be operational at the time of application and throughout the duration of the call.
- Company age: Less than 8 years since incorporation at the time of the event.
- Company size: Between 3 and 99 full-time employees.
- Contribution to the SDGs: The product or service must align with one or more of the Sustainable Development Goals.
- Exclusive participation: Must not have been selected for the Spain Pavilion at MWC 2026 or be participating in other institutional pavilions, accelerators, or independently at 4YFN 2026.
- Nature of the company: Service providers to startups or tech companies without their own product are not eligible.
- Origin of exhibited products/services: Must be exclusively of Spanish manufacture and/or brand. Only products belonging to the booth holder may be displayed.
